Wagon Wheels Ghost Town

During the late 1850s prospectors discovered the first significant Montana Gold strike at Benatsee Creek, north of the Deer Lodge Valley.

By the turn of the century thriving boomtowns were scattered throughout the state. When the gold disappeared, so did the people.

What remains of the once wild and roaring mining camps are a number of historic Ghost Towns. As you make your way across the wooden boardwalks of many of Montana's ghost towns, if you listen closely, you might just hear the echo of gold strikes, vigilantes, road agents, gunfire and the pounding hooves of long forgotten riders...

Hot Springs

After lunch near historic Twin Bridges, we will visit an unusual hot springs spa. Mineral-laden, pure geothermal waters are used in the indoor plunges, the outdoor swimming pool, the natural mineral steam rooms, the showers, and also to heat the entire building.

A relaxing massage

Relax from your trip to the Old West with a mineral soak and amazing massage before heading back to Wild Echo Reserve!
