For 2008, we are adding a new dimension to our camp with 2 authentic log cabins which can sleep up to five per cabin. Each cabin has a main floor with a king size bed (or 2 twins depending on your request), a futon which converts to a full size bed, as well as a private bath, complete with sink, shower, and toilet. The half loft upstairs also has one or two beds. The cabins are the same combination as the tipis, of a rustic "old west" feel combined with the luxuriousness of fine bed linens, cozy comforters, and buffalo robes.

For those who wish to use the cabins as their main accommodation, we will still have a Native American Tipi available for a place to relax, read, or sit around a campfire. And, of course, we also have tipis available if anyone would like to make them the main accommodation (in that case, toilet facilities are located a short distance from the tipis). The Bison Quest staff also live in camp tipis during your stay so that we are nearby.

Other types of "bath" accommodations include a sweat lodge (the ancient answer to the sauna) and a wood fired hot "tub" near our bubbling artesian spring.

Our main emphasis here at the Wild Echo Bison Reserve, is to give guests the natural and exciting feel of an wilderness adventure vacation with just a little pampering thrown in.
